The Treasures of Rome in the Capitoline Museum

Explore a trove of the most jaw-dropping treasures unearthed during the last 500 years of excavating the ruins of Rome.

July 27th

What you’ll do

Stroll through one of the greatest collections of antiquities in the world and see a lot of the statues and works of art that you grew up looking at in history books. The she-wolf of Rome is here suckling Romulus and Remus, so is the Boy with a Thorn in his Foot, the Dying Gaul, Bernini’s Medusa, and that mosaic of the tiger that has to be seen to be believed. Whether you are a longtime lover of antiquities or simply someone who wants to get more insight into the art of the ancients, this is an unforgettable experience.
